Uptick secures Trent Innes (former Managing Director of Xero Australia & Asia) for its board.
Uptick today announced the appointment of Trent Innes, to its board as a non-executive director, effective 1st February, 2022. Innes brings a wealth of scale up experience, corporate strategy and people focused leadership from his many years as Managing Director of Xero.

Uptick has experienced phenomenal growth in the Australia and New Zealand market, with recurring revenue growth expected to exceed 80% for the current financial year. Uptick has now captured a majority share of the Fire Protection market in Australia, and secured several landmark customers in the HVAC market. Uptick’s focus remains on building the best-in-class product for asset-based maintenance, and expects to invest $3M+ in R&D activities next financial year.

Trent started his career as a practicing accountant right here in Melbourne. Seeing for himself the opportunity that technology could bring to growing businesses, he transitioned into tech, working across a range of businesses including Microsoft Business Group.
In 2013, he joined Xero as National GTM Director, when the company was just a startup, moving into the Managing Director role from 2016 to 2021, Trent oversaw Australia & Asia region during a period of exponential growth reaching over 1.2 million subscribers
