Uptick is a fast-growing B2B SaaS business providing fire and security businesses with an easy-to-use yet powerful suite of software tools to help them run and grow their businesses.

Backed by leading global growth equity company Accel-KKR, we’re now the category leader in Australia (where the business was started by our CEO & Founder) and operate in four countries. We launched in the UK in 2021.

We’re looking for a high-energy, commercially minded B2B marketer to join our marketing team and make a significant contribution to our UK growth.

Reporting to our Head of Marketing, you’ll get stuck into a wide range of marketing initiatives, and support our wider Growth team (marketing and sales) in cultivating a community of engaged customers, prospects and partners.

The ideal person will have:

  • Experience supporting and executing marketing projects in a B2B context - ideally in SaaS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • A really good vibe. We have an incredibly driven, high-performing team but we all leave our egos at the door and support and encourage each other.
What you'll need to do

To succeed in this role a candidate must be able to:

  • Be a key point of contact for our customers in order to deliver video and written case studies, and generate product reviews and testimonials
  • Lead on organising Uptick community events and support our customer teams in building our community network
  • Help create content for, and manage and maintain, our main content distribution channels, including our website, social media, YouTube and email
  • Manage and update the content calendar
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, wider growth team members, and other relevant departments, to come up with and test new ideas and continually iterate and improve how we do things
  • Manage our marketing freelancers
  • Support the wider business with marketing requests
  • Help maintain our HubSpot data, performance tracking and reporting as well as our wider marketing tech stack, and handle all other admin necessary for the smooth running of the marketing function
What you'll need to bring

To qualify for this role you'll need to:

  • At least 1 year of previous B2B marketing experience. Experience in B2B SaaS software or a service provider to frontline industries would be preferable
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience running social media accounts is a bonus
